Today we split up into two groups, one wanted to go to Northampton with Saskia for grocery shopping. And later in the afternoon buying presents because one students birthday was tomorrow. But before they could even start three of the girls wanted to go shower but that turnt into an adventure because we told them many times don’t flood our caravan. The cause of us saying that is because yesterday one of the girls was showering and then we noticed the water was already halfway to the living room. But luckily today the showering people didn’t flood our caravan by so the group could go shopping. In Northampton when they wanted to park they did it in a parking garage and the ceiling came closer and closer. At the end there where like 3 centimeters of space left. In Northampton they split Saskia and one student left to check if the bankcard was working but it didn’t so they ate cake while waiting for the girls. While the girls where shopping they wanted to take the elevator but accidentally drove to the highest point of the parking garage then the elevator couldn’t bring them down they had to walk. They were completely lost but eventually made it back to the group. The other group was only three students and Kevin they wanted to go bouldering. So on the website it said they would open at 14:30 pm but when we arrived there was a letter that said they would open at 17:30 pm so we wanted to drive back to the nursery. Kevin had to make a stop at the gas station when he wanted to pay both of his bank cards didn’t work so he has to go to the ATM they had there. Later in the car he realized with shock that they had made him pay a 13,8% exchange fey for the money. Back home Kevin had the idea to hide the Nutella from the girls. He put them on a cupboard with the empty Nutella glasses. Sadly it didn’t work because he did the same last time. Then on 17:30 pm they drove to the climbing hall again this time it was open and they could go climb.

Today was the second day of our trip to England. We planned to go to Oxford. After we had breakfast together, where Zoé caught her first crumpet, we drove at 10 o’clock to Oxford. We arrived there at quarter past 11. After we bought a parking ticket, we went to the botanical garden in Oxford. When we arrived there, we separated into groups of atleast 3 people to go sightseeing by our own . First the girls group went to KFC for lunch and then to a shopping mall in the center of Oxford. On our way to KFC we walked past the university’s in Oxford. Saskia, Kevin and Loran walked around Oxford visited the universities and a fun fair. After that, they went to the shopping mall for lunch. Lenz, Linus and Mia left Oxford without noticing, but after a while they figured it out and returned back to Oxford. When they were back at the center they had lunch in a baguette restaurant. After we all met at the shopping mall at around half past three, we went back to the parking lot. During we were waiting in the car, Saskia and Kevin was trying to find out why we was getting a ticket for wrong parking for the bus. After a while they found out that earlier when we were buying the parking tickets we bought a wrong ticket just for one hour of parking, so we bought a second ticket for the bus what was for four hours. The problem was just that the people who scanned the tickets only scanned the first ticket for one hour so they was giving us a 100 pounds penalty. We decided first to drive home and look from there if we really need to pay the 100 pounds. Around four pm we arrived at the Nursery. We all were a bit tired so we went into our rooms. During that, Saskia and Kevin was looking together with Judy that we don’t need to pay the money for the parking ticket. They write an email to the parking lot and they said that we get an answer in latest 10 days. At five pm the cooking group decided to start cooking dinner. We cooked a rice pan with vegetables. At 6 pm we all had dinner together. After dinner the girls were going to their caravan and the boys and Mia stayed in the kitchen with Saskia and Kevin. In the evening most of the group played hide and seek.

Today was the first day in England. We decided to clean on the first day, so we divided into different groups. One group cleaned the kitchen, the other tidied up the outside area and removed the weeds and the last group had the outside toilet cleaned up. After everything was cleaned and tidied up we went shopping in Daventry and then to the playground. When we were back at the nursery a couple went into the fields with the dog Dotty. Afterwards a small group played flesh and blood (a strategy cardgame), another group played Who Am I. After that, the next few days were planned and those who wanted had dinner. Later in the evening everyone played Hide-and-Seek.

„So early in the morning“ we met at the school at 5.30 in the morning. As usual, Flo was late, but so was Kevin. We set off at 6 am. In the bus, there was a rhythm of sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating and so on. In Brussels Flo left the group and Kevin got the driver of the car. Flo drove home by train and Kevin drove on to England. 1 pm we were at the UK border. We were on the ferry at 1.40 pm and travelled for 1.5 hours. Then we continued towards Nobettle Nursery. Again 1.5 hours before our destination we took a short break. We arrived at our destination at 6pm. The first reaction to our place of residence from those who had never been there before was very disappointing and one or two tears were shed. „Mice!😬“ that was our first reaction when we saw our blankets and pillows, but after 1 hour everyone calmed down and settled into their rooms. For dinner we had pasta with tomato sauce. On the end of the day we all went to bed.

Blog Day 2

Our first morning in Northhampton started at 8am.
The plumber came to look for our Pipes wich broke a day before. We hoped that he could fix it and we became hot water.
When he was gone we ate our first breakfast at the england trip. The teachers had a meeting and after that we planed what we need to buy for the week and what we wanted to do in London. One part of the students went to supermarket buying food and too a …. buying the tickets to go to london.
At the same time the other ones played Uno or walked over the site.
The Boys built a heater on their own where they baked a bread later.
In the evening we cooked rice with vegetables and later we played games, read books or talked to eachother.

Komische Ideen beim Arbeiten
