Today was the 6th day in England. During breakfast, Judy and Dotty came by and asked if we could help her with the plants this afternoon. We agreed and finished eating. Sakia and Kevin had actually planned the visit of a rugby game, but that wouldn’t start before 8 pm. So everything worked out. When July picked us up, we helped her put the plants into larger containers and then take the containers to the various greenhouses. The rest of the day we only did little things like playing the game Happy Little Dinosaurs or Duoble. However, most of us were just in the caravan on their smartphones.
When we wanted to drive off, we first had to find a parking space, which took a while. When we got to the parking space and got out of the car, we looked for the shortest route and started walking. Kevin and Anne kept complaining that Melina was walking too slowly. At the stadium itself, everyone with a bag had to hand theirs in to check. Then Saskia opened the tickets on her smartphone and we went through one by one, but when Saskia finally wanted to go through, it didn’t work. It went on like that for a while until Saskia discovered it. The mistake was a ticket was scanned and no one went through. Saskia was allowed to go in, and we looked for our seats. Our seats were 1 to 12, block 12. At the beginning there was a memorial ceremony for the deceased captain of Northampton: Mobbs. After that the game started. The first try (like a touchdown) was from Northampton. At the end Northampton also won. On the way back we thought we are going in the wrong direction, but we hadn’t. When we got back we thought one of us had left the music on, but there was actually just a festival on the other side of the street.
